Pendant lighting comes in different styles like Americana, mission/arts and crafts, country style, crystal, European style, modern/contemporary style, rustic and lodge, Tiffany style, traditional style, tropical style, wrought iron, Victorian style and modern organics. You can also get different colors in this light like black, brass, bronze, brown, chrome, copper, designer, gold, nickel, pewter, rust, silver and white.
In the dining room, these lights can replace the classic chandelier of days past to play with the appearance and style completely. The lights should be thirty to thirty-six inches above the table, and possibly higher for a larger table. A lower placed light will create a cozy atmosphere, but beware of having it so low that it shines into diners’ eyes.
Kitchens today are built much larger than they use to be. As a result you have a lot more space to play with. Accent Lighting is not only decorative but can provide function as well. We use ours in the event someone needs to visit the refrigerator or get a glass of water in the middle of the night but doesn‘t want to completely wake up in the process.
