Other possible choices include wrought iron candle wall sconces. These sturdy pieces give a rustic look to your walls while still casting that soothing candlelight. Wrought iron sconces are generally handmade and are often combined with mirrored elements. They also harken back to an era where candles were the main source of light, so they add an antique flavor to your home.
Wall art is not the only type of decor that can be displayed in a master bedroom along with candle wall sconces. Add a touch of exquisiteness and elegance to a master bedroom with the addition of a cast resin or marble sculpture displayed on a plaster, marble, or cast resin pedestal. Attractive and highly stylish pedestals range from the very affordable to the very expensive, but they are equally as stunning and dramatic when placed in a master bedroom. Select a tall pedestal and sculpture and it can be enhanced with a set of candle wall sconces displayed on both sides. Place a mirror in back of the display to provide a view of all sides, and mount the sconces on both sides of the mirror. It will look exceptionally rich and impressive.
Wall sconces are a great ways to add lots of ambient light as well as adding a unique design element to your homes decor. You can accent a picture or unique piece of decor in your home. The first place I waned to decorate was my dining room. I chose a couple of electric metal wall sconces to go in there. I placed two of the sconces on either side of the entryway and two more at the back of the room. I also inserted a dimmer switch so I can set the mood while eating, or turn them up all the way when I need full light. After I installed them, they looked absolutely stunning. And even better, they matched my chandelier perfectly.
